Mastery of the Quirk

There is a certain thing that I’ve become fixated on that I call Mastery of the Quirk. There are a million types of ways to be “well dressed” in fact that’s precisely what this blog is about. But it’s the people who can master being a little bit extra and still look well put together. While most of us become better at riding that fine line between super chic and over the top, these people do just a little bit over the top to make themselves stand out. What I love about their style is that they can pull off being too literal. It’s the real “editorial” dressing. You can spot the eccentrics everywhere, and then there are the standouts like Catherine Baba, Susie Bubble and Anna Del Russo. The bravery and more importantly the aptitude for creating a style identity like this is what makes them so muse worthy.
